Like many of us, I have faced struggles and challenges on my path. This space, Rooted, was born from a deep desire to share my story and offer a beacon of hope to others. I've struggled with depression, anxiety, substance use, experiences with sexual assault, seasons of suicidal ideation, doubt, family issues, setbacks, grief & etc. But I have overcome through the Lord and his grace. He has been my strength through every season, and I am still learning. Along the way, God has also sent people into my life at just the right times to encourage and remind me that I am not alone- and I believe He will do the same for others too. That's part of what "Rooted" represents: a place God uses to help bring people together, to grow in faith, and to remind us that healing and hope are possible. People are not isolated in their struggles because I have been there too, and God is still writing my & your story. If any part of my story feels familiar, I pray Rooted reminds you that healing is possible and you don't have to walk alone.
